Hoochies for fishing many of the species of salmon vary in length and diameter. Our available bait types can target certain fish types by determining their feeding habits. Certain fishing locations will have a popular or successful lure length and color patterns. Supertackle has a broad spectrum of soft plastic baits that resemble plankton bloom, eel, minnow, anchovy, pile worm, needlefish, sand lance, herring, pilchard and squid.
These work excellent in both salt and freshwater for salmon, cod, flounder, halibut, tuna and many others. Rigging for specific fishing styles such as trolling or jigging is easily achieved with simple beads, leads, hooks and action enhancers.
Supertackle soft plastic baits all have ultra violet color additives to resemble that which naturally occur in baitfish and squid. Our glow in the dark enhanced lures have a measured amount of material that will charge and last long with an ultraviolet lamp. Many of our transparent patterns will change color in the water or take on a opaque jelly appearance. The durability of the plastics is very good and have been tested and used by many commercial fishermen.
